Board cutting and processing

Precise cutting: According to the installation size requirements, use professional tools to accurately cut the board. When cutting, pay attention to keeping the cutting surface flat and smooth, avoiding burrs or cracks, so as not to scratch the operator or affect the installation effect.

Edge treatment: The edges of the cut sheet may have sharp corners, which need to be polished or chamfered to prevent cutting the sealing material or causing safety hazards during installation. Fixing method: When using self tapping screws or rivets for fixing, pay attention to even spacing, usually around 30-50 centimeters apart. Overlap treatment: The overlap length between boards is generally a wave peak or valley, which can be determined according to the board specifications and installation requirements. Avoid direct contact with metal: When the sheet comes into contact with metal components, rubber or plastic pads should be used for isolation to prevent electrochemical corrosion caused by direct contact between the metal and the sheet, which may affect the service life of the sheet.

Check after installation

Sealing inspection: After installation, carefully check whether the joints, fixing points, and edges of the board are well sealed, and whether there are any glue leaks, gaps, or holes. If there is any leakage, it should be repaired in a timely manner.

Appearance inspection: Check whether the installation of the board is smooth, and whether there are obvious unevenness or deformation phenomena. At the same time, check the surface of the board for scratches, stains, etc. If necessary, clean and repair it.

Drainage inspection: Check if the drainage system on the roof or wall is unobstructed to ensure that rainwater can be drained smoothly and there will be no water accumulation on the roof panels. If there is water accumulation, the cause should be promptly identified and rectified to avoid affecting the service life of the roof panels.
